Description
The Post Date Block automatically displays the publishing date of your blog posts where they are featured in a Query Block.
The default post date will automatically appear in the Post Date Block when you add it. You can’t edit the post date within the block; adding it will pull the date set on the post itself.
This block is part of the Post Template Block child items that also include Featured Image, Post Title, Post Author, Post Excerpt, and Post Terms.

Style Settings
- Text Style allows you to choose a text style for the post date numbers from your Typography styles (configured in Global Styles)
- Text Colour allows you to set your post date numbers colour from your Colours (configured in Global Styles)
Format Settings
- The drop-down allows you to modify the date format that displays anywhere post dates are shown on your site
Advanced
Additional CSS Class(es)
This allows you to enter a unique Class identifier, for custom CSS targeting within the theme to faciliate custom development. More about Theme Customizations.
