Settings

Options

Use Featured Image as Background

This setting allows you to use featured images as the full backgrounds for the posts on your post landing page. By default it’s toggled off, and the featured images appear as a thumbnail above the Post Title and Post Terms. When toggled on, the featured image would fill the entire space behind the date, post title, and any other visible text.

Apply Colour Overlay

This setting allows you to add a colour overlay to the images for the posts IF the featured image is being used as the full background. By default it’s toggled off. If toggled on, you will see options for the colour based on your palette(s) configured under Foundry > Global Styles. You will also see a slider to control the opacity of the colour overlay.

Layout

Enable Gutter

This toggle creates a gutter between the posts in your Query Block.

Post Width

This setting allows you to control how wide each post is within the Query Block.

Direction, Align & Justify

Direction allows you to choose whether the posts in the loop are laid out as a row, stacked as a column, row-reverse (reverse order in a row), or column-reverse (reverse order in a column). By default, they will display as a row.

Align and Justify govern the position of the post content within the column.

Padding

This setting allows you to control the padding around the outside edges of each post, relative to the parent container.

Template Styling

Post Template Padding

These sliders let you control the padding between the posts and other containers of content.

Display

This drop-down is where you choose how the posts are displayed. ‘Block’ displays them filling the whole Query Block. ‘Flex’ opens up a set of flex direction settings (more on Flex Direction), so you can control how the posts flex within the block as well as how they are aligned and justified. ‘None’ hides the posts.

Post Template Background

Customize the colour of your Query Block background, based on your palette(s) configured under Foundry > Global Styles. You can also choose a background image to appear behind your posts.

Borders

  • Border Side and Width configure a border on one or all sides of your icons, and control how wide the border is
  • Border Style controls the look of your border (solid, dotted, or dashed)
  • Border Colour enables you to set the icon border colour from your palette(s) set in Global Styles > Colours
  • Border Radius rounds the edges of your border (used for solid or dashed border styles)
